Cosmic Capers presented by High Touch High Tech

We were visited by Laboratory Lee Ann today for the Cosmic Capers program of High Touch High Tech.
We launched a rocket and timed how long it was in the air.  We then calculated how high the rocket went in the air.  It went about 64 feet! The class experienced how forces cause and opposite reaction when they stood on blue rotating circles and the scientist spun wheels in our hands.  The students turned from side to side when they made the wheel "flat as a pancake." We also jumped to see how far we can jump on the moon.  For every foot jumped on Earth, you would jump 28 feet on the moon!!  Some students in this class can jump 168 feet on the moon!  Lastly, we made alien sneeze. EEEEWWWWWW!
