Frisco History Unit

During the past few weeks, we have been studying the history of Frisco!  We watched a video that told us events that we made into a timeline.  We worked in stations to study a map of the city of Frisco, to learn about the helpful uses of a cowboy's clothing, and we researched meanings of vocabulary of words of items in Frisco's history.  We also had a great time at the Heritage Museum!  Below are pictures of our trip!

Here we got to see how a printing press works!

We got to see what an old car looks like and that the gas was pumped into a tank under the car seat!

Here is a living room from the early years of Frisco.  Notice that there isn't a TV!

Frisco was a cotton town in the early days.  Here is an example of a cotton gin that helps to pull the seeds out of the cotton.
