Place Value
We have been studying how to write 6 digit numbers in standard form, word form, and expanded form.
Example:
standard form: 639,547
expanded form: 600,000+30,000+9,000+500+40+7
word form: six hundred thirty-nine thousand, five hundred forty seven

Number Lines
We have been studying how to locate points on a number line and what points on a number line represent a number. There are two types of number line questions that will be asked this year.
1. What point best represents point A?
2. What point best represents a number?
We always find the rule to our pattern before answering the question.
